Thank you!

Guess what?!? I LOVE WEDDINGS! Ok, you may already know that…but did you know that I love weddings so much that I’ve gathered with some of my favourite ladies in the industry, to share our love of weddings with THE WORLD (starting with Vancouver)?
Today is the big day; the launch of a project that’s been in the works for a little over a year now, and one that I couldn’t be more proud or excited to be a part of! Today, Tutu & Fru goes LIVE!
What is Tutu & Fru? It’s something fun to say. It’s a showcase of the amazing talent of the Vancouver Wedding industry. It’s a place to go for inspiration and stylish eye candy. Most importantly, it’s our labour of love.
Who is Tutu & Fru? Four femme fatales who might be a little obsessed with weddings! Seriously though, I couldn’t ask for a better team than Vasia, Minnie, and L’nielle. They are talented, passionate, and beautiful inside & out.
I also want to thank all of our friends in the industry who have been so supportive of us throughout this whole process, and to all the talented photographers who shared their beautiful images with us! Keep ‘em coming! =)
Ready? Check out Tutu & Fru!!!!
We’re so excited and pleased to be featured on Style Me Pretty Canada today! Lara & Trevor’s wedding was a joy to work on, and highlights the natural beauty of our hometown. Click here to check out this beautiful wedding and read what our bride Lara has to say about her perfect day!
Congratulations again Lara & Trevor!

At last we get to share this shoot with you! This was one of the first Creatives we worked on with the talented Vasia of Vasia Photography, Gloria of Flower Factory, and the Sutton Place Hotel. I’d also like to send a big Thank You to Diane of Atkinson’s Vancouver for lending us all the beautiful china.
Take a look at the rest of the gorgeous images from this shoot on Vasia’s blog!
No explanation needed. I LOVE photobooths. =) Your guests will love it too. GET A PHOTOBOOTH!
We were lucky enough to be a part of Claudio & Niki’s wedding last Saturday, at the beautifully rebuilt Rosewood Hotel Georgia. This wedding was such a pleasure to be a part of because everyone involved was so great to work with and the couple is so clearly in love!

Thank you Melissa, Gina & Sisco for all of your hard work! Couldn’t have done it without you!
Congratulations Claudio and Niki!
Among the many exciting experiences I’ve been lucky to have as an intern for Lé Soirées, one of the most recent ones was working with photographer Vasia of Vasia Weddings and model Julia Byrne on a stylized bridal shoot in early June. The Secret Garden themed shoot included headpieces by Elizabeth for Threadblossom, flowers by Joh for Celsia Florsists and gowns from Bisou Bridal.
The shoot took place in the beautiful gardens of St. John’s Church where we also set up gorgeous table décor as well as a sweets table, (which was filled with colorful cupcakes, marsh-mellows and lollipops, thus were quickly eaten as soon as they were photographed!).
Along with jewellery from Fine Finds, we had a few pieces of cute and creative hand made stationary courtesy of LéLé Chan – why buy when you can make?! They were used as props for the model and laid prettily on the table décor styled by The Goods.
Lastly, what’s a photo shoot without hair and make up?! Thanks to Allison Giroday and Jade Kugelman for all of their stunning work!
I could not imagine having any more fun with such great company and talent. Can’t wait for the next one! [Hopefully there will be cupcakes ...

A few months ago, I had the pleasure of producing a bridal shoot for local photographer, Vasia Weddings. The stylized shoot featured some bold hair accessories that I fell in love with! You can find these handmade, artisan hair pieces, made by Alexis Jennings, at Wilde & Sparrow in Parksville BC.
Stunning models, amazing gowns from Bisou Bridal, sparkling jewels by Elsa Corsi, stylish seating provided by The Cross Decor & Design, and the Brix Courtyard as our gorgeous location – this shoot was so much fun to do! Thanks also to Allison Giroday & Charrisse Mae for doing makeup, Noir Lash Lounge for providing lashes, and to Jade Kugelman for doing hair.
Here are a few of my favorite images from the shoot.

Thanks again to everyone who contributed to this shoot, and to our superstar intern – couldn’t have done it without you!
My almost 5 year-old wants a pink unicorn and rainbow themed birthday party…I want something a little more “outside the box”. The compromise: bring back the era when unicorns, rainbow and sparkles were cool!
This 80′s inspired Unicorn Party is a work in progress. Here is the online invite I’ve designed. What do you think?
Inspired by the blooming Spring flowers and Royal tea parties, my sister and I decided to throw a little English tea party for our girls and their BFFs. A table full of beautiful snacks, fresh flowers, fine china, and apple juice in a rose teapot…who could ask for more? This was also the official launch party of Lé {petite} Soirées, our Children’s Events department! We’re so excited about planning lots of darling little soirées for your little ones, so stay tuned for ideas and inspiration!
